CLOSURE HOME LEARNING SPRING 2021

Please log on to your year group's tab and look at the learning plan for this week.

The expectations are that all children follow the full timetable for the day. As before, it is important that your child's day is structured to follow the learning and include some form of exercise.  You will see that teachers have presented learning in different ways and we are now looking at options to enable more interaction between home and school learners. Whichever ever direction we take, it is obviously important that your child has access to an electronic device. While you can access the website on a phone, your child really needs a tablet/laptop/desktop to be able to engage actively.  If you do not have a device which your child can use, we shall try to help.  Please contact Mrs Marshall via the school office.

Please be aware that to hear the sound on a powerpoint presentation, you need to open the presentation and then go to to start slide show from start. If you are using an android phone or a tablet, the sound will not begin unless you do this.  It is possible on a phone - although again, not ideal (see above).

WEEK FOUR - January 25th ALL LEARNING WILL BE UP BY 9AM MONDAY

Please click on to your year group and then WEEK FOUR.  Please remember that EYFS are using Tapestry - all learning is on that Tapestry this week.

Below you will find last Friday's celebration assembly and the whole school assembly for Monday from Mrs Goddin.  Look on the Signing and Prayer tab to find a challenge from Mrs Dunning and Mrs Webzell has a video showing you how to make a tasty treat for the birds!  How did you get on with the knot tying last week?  Please enter the Poetry competition (see tab on left - open until 26th February.

KEEPING FIT

It's really important that you include some physical activity in your daily routines. Remember that in school you would have the Daily Mile, PE lessons as well as about an hour outside during your two breaks. The tab on the left: KEEPING FIT  gives you some links to fun ways to keep fit.

The TOKYO Random Routines is different and brings in some number work and Japanese language too!
