Week 11

As you will have heard, this week we are only posting the core English and Maths learning for Y6. This is because we have most of the year group now in school.  Those who are not in school will receive emails from their teachers attaching the learning that they expect to be completed.  You do need to complete the four Maths and five English lessons below.

Learning is moving quickly in class and we have decided that in order to keep everybody together, there is an expectation that you upload your English and Maths learning regularly throughout the week.  Do please continue to contact your teacher directly if you need support. You will also receive some feedback.

Below you will also see a film made this week by The UN. It was recorded this week across the world and has had almost 160,000 views so far.  The World's Largest Lesson looks at the Global Goals for sustainability and covers many of the issues that we look at in school. The film is aimed at age 10 up. It is interesting to hear what young people have to say not only on the time we have been going through, but also looking to the future. If you have older children at home, they too will engage with this.
